It's not about the banal Christmas songs that have been playing in shops since mid-October. It's not about the arrival of Christmas cards in the post. It's not even about having most of the Christmas shopping done. For me, Christmas has started because I've attended my first carol service of the year, down in St Anne's Cathedral. The thrilling descants and traditional carols mean that Christmas has now started properly for me! Just another 4 Christmas services to go then...
This Sunday we have the Lord's Supper at 10.30am, and our Carols by Candlelight at 4pm, then on Christmas Eve at 11pm, and on Christmas morning at 10.30am. You will be most warmly welcomed to any or all of these services!
