Mister Noah Strikes Again!

Mr Noah has again built an ark! Primrose gave me the link to this story on the BBC News website of the Dutchman who has built a half-size replica of the ark! Fantastic!

Mr Noah built an ark, the people thought it such a lark. Mr Noah pleaded so, but into the ark they would not go. Down came the rain in torrents. (Splish splash) Down came the rain in torrents. (Splish Splash) Down came the rain in torrents, and only eight were saved.

the people thought it such a lark,
    Mr. Noah pleaded so,
but in the ark they would not go.

The rain came down in torrents, torrents,
The rain came down in torrents, torrents
The rain coma down in torrents,
    And only eight were saved.

    Noah Built the Ark

Noah built the ark of gopher wood
He obeyed God and He was good
Took all the animals into the ark,
The ducks and rabbits and dogs that bark
    woof, woof

    Maybe this helps?

  3. I have always felt this song was never finished or had a suitable ending i have written a few more verses as follows:

The ark it floated for a year,
Until at last dry ground was near.
Mr Noah gave thanks to God
And God gave Noah a great big nod.

God said to Noah now off you go,
Fill the earth with people so.
Never again will I flood mankind,
My rainbow is here to me remind.

    Last chorus:

When ever you see a rainbow (x3)remeber God loves you.

Please fell free to use of alter i'm not much good a poetry

    God Bless Harold

  4. Another verse I remember as a child...

In went the animals two by two,
the elephant, giraffe and the kangaroo,
    all were safely stored away,
    against God's terrible judgment day
