Statcounter One Year On

I've just realised that I've been using Statcounter to record the visitors to the blog for just over one year now! The first day of records was 2nd August 2008, and I've been very impressed with Statcounter's excellency, accuracy and reliability over this past year.

Here's the daily visitor graph from the past year of Statcounter statistics:



In the period 02/08/08 - 01/08/09 there have been 16306 page views, which amounts to an average of 1358 per month, 313 per week, or 44.7 per day. Wonder who the 0.7 person is!

The blog seems to be on a slow upward ascent, with huge spikes on certain days (the busiest being 180 when The Famine Is Over was published, and 122 on 18th May, although I'm not sure why!)
