  1. IN YOUR OTHER POST YOU SAY. this morning we're going to look at the only two ways we can think – either from our natural, sinful viewpoint, or we can see things as God sees them.
SUCH DARK AGES GARBAGE!!!!. "NATURAL -SINFUL" IS A CONTRADICTORY STATEMENT . THERE IS NOTHING " SINFUL " ABOUT BEING "YOU "{. ITS WHAT GOD CREATED..].
I CANT BELIEVE THAT IN THIS DAY AND AGE THERE IS STILL THE UNDERLING ATTITUDES OF FEAR AND SELF LOATHING THAT COMES OUT OF THAT BOOK OF FILTH PEOPLE CALL A BIBLE TO MOTIVATE THEIR LIVES.
CHRIST WAS COOL . A GREAT WARRIOR INDEED..
ITS HIS FOLLOWERS THAT BRING IN ALL THAT SELF RIGHTEOUS DOGMA, AND DISTORT IT WITH WORDS LIKE " SINFUL" ETC. SUCH NONSENSE, ALL TO PROMOTE MORE IGNORANCE AND FEAR RATHER THAN THE TRUTH OF THE ACTUALITY OF BEING.
sounds lore like CONTROL issues to me than elevation of the spirit

  2. Thank you for your posting. However, I must strongly disagree with your opinion. Man is in his nature sinful. God created this world perfect, but then humans made the choice to sin - and this sinful nature has been present in every human being ever since.

And it is from these sins that we must be saved - indeed, the reason why Jesus came into the world. As he said himself: 'God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that all who believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life' (John 3:16). We are sinful, and need to be 'born again' (again, Jesus' own words from John 3:7). Feel free to continue the discussion, by all means, but please don't use capitals the whole time - surely your argument should be strong enough without you needing to use captials?

  4. Sprockets and spokes?? hhhmmm! i have to say that i think your theology is a bit off! as, well, if there is no sin in human nature then why indeed did Christ have to died at all??? what purpose did he accomplish by his death? Also according to your logic if a person murders he has done nothing wrong! as "thats the way God created him" so if there is nothin sinful about murder and the taking of another person's life (who is made in the image of God) then i would say that that is a more scary, loating, ignorant thought than saying we are sinful and require Gods Grace to be forgiven! we do indeed sin by nature! as a Child you do not have to be taught to be selfish, to tell lies etc etc. Human being sin, God never sins He is perfect and as a result this means we are seperated from him! and suffer his judgement! but thankfully God did not leave it at that and Gave his Son (the cool Christ you talked of) to die on the cross and be punished for our sin, so that we may no longer be seperated from God. How wonderful is that! there is nothin scary or self righteous about it for sure! Plus your comments about the Holy Scriptures i take great offence at!! they are indeed the inspired, infalliable, suficient Word of God! you would do well to read them more carefully!!! Soli Deo Gloria - to God alone be the Glory

  5. Dear dude.
    you say
God created this world perfect, but then humans made the choice to sin - and this sinful nature has been present in every human being ever since.
GOD DID NOT CREATE the world perfect.
in fact its an ongoing process of refinement[ evolution']
if it were perfect then why do we have backaches and wear glass.s, even in that book of fables and myths called the bible it says
GE 1:31 God was pleased with his creation.
GE 6:5-6 God was not pleased with his creation.
(Note: That God should be displeased is inconsistent with the concept of omniscience.)
    YOU THEN SAY.
And it is from these sins that we must be saved - indeed, the reason why Jesus came into the world. As he said himself: 'God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that all who believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life'

GEE. THAT DOSENT SAY MUCH ABOUT THE existance of the bhudda, or allah, or other saints throughout spiritual history does it?
SO to claim that as the ultimate and only truth is self serving and egocentric.
and by the way. i LIKE the CAPS thing. it SEPERATES two differnt positions. so TRY and deal with it ok?

    DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!
now really .. heres a reality check for you . [ if you can take a moment to get you head outta the clouds, or wherever else you may keep it]
The king James version of the new testament was based upon a Greek text that as marred by mistakes, containing the accumulated errors of 14 centuries of manuscript copying. The total accumulation of the Greek text was done in 1589.
The first original translation from the Hebrew and Greek was printed by a William Tyndale. He was ordered to be BURNED at the Stake. For untrue translation. Gee now there s LOVING GOD for divine inspiration. He was publicly executed in 1536/ . ah the bible. . such a HORRID book of hate that governs so many ignorant people. A reason to exist in their own pathetic and lonely life.
that IS of course if you are reading the king JAMES version. . now REALLY.
your going to believe a man who never took a bath and had ROTTEN TEETH as an emmisary of god??
and WHICH of these" holy books" are you refering to . there are these also..
. The New American Standard Version
    The American Standard Version
    The Basic English Version
    The Darby Version
    The Douay-Rheims Version
    The King James Version
    Webster's Version
    The World English Version
    The Weymouth Version
    The Young's Literal Version
    The Catholic Version
    The Book of Mormon Version
they all say they are THE REAL VERSION.....

  9. Hey - thanks for coming back. I suppose I can deal with the capitals, if it keeps the discussion going.

You say that God being displeased is incompatible with his omniscience? God knew before he created the world that humans would sin, yet in love he chose to do this anyway - after all, Jesus was 'chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake' (1 Peter 1:20), to be the sacrifice for sin.

God did create the world perfect - as you said yourself, 'God saw all that he had made and it was very good'. But notice what happens after Adam and Eve chose to sin - the ground is cursed! Suddenly Paradise is no longer so, and they will have to toil for their food, with all the attendant pain and hardship. All because of SIN!

Later in your comments, you remark that what I say doesn't say much for Buddha or Allah or any other such things. Too right! Jesus said: 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except by me' (John 14:1). 'Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which me must be saved'(Acts 4:12)

  10. greetings

Just a few thoughts to stir it up a bit.
Where did it all go wrong? In the garden of eden? (which is being destroyed in modern day iraq)? In the sin of adam and eve (They both get blame because adam is repsonsible of eves actions) with the devil? If it was ole luicifer, where did he go wrong? wasnt it in glory, where he decided to rebel? So is there real perfection? If there is the ability to sin for angels, is it possible that himanity can sin in heaven?

If humanity is the answer to our problems, what does history teach us? from plato to marx people have tried to create perfect societies and failed. So it is not us.

In other religions? maybe, but religions are either created by humanity, or inspired by satan, or created by him. All religions promise salvation upon death

there is one that gives it now, by god doing an act, the others offer work as the way out, and we only know if we pass when we die.

If there is no sin, why are there wars, more food to fed all the world and more, and yet millions die, and the conservative party? If humanity is getting better why did august 6 1945 happen? or septemeber 11 2001 and the reasons on both sides to the bulid up?

What religion, or philosophy or person has done more than Jesus Christ, if anyone can show me, then i will follow!
